Road Trip! ... What!?!

For those of you who don't know, James and I fly for free. Hence all the fancy trips to Dubai and Idaho. Haha. Since SW doesn't fly into Idaho Falls, we flew to SLC and then borrowed one of Julie & Donald's sweet rides to drive up to Rexburg! It was a convertible. And I'm pretty sure it was the first time I had ever driven in one. I was really excited about it until about 2 hrs into the drive when my hair was literally a bird's nest. Still fun though.

We had fun in Idaho visiting our good friends Jordan and Abbie. James and Jordan went camping and climbing at City of ROcks and I have to admit, I was a little jealous. That place looks/sounds ridic. However, I had a great time hanging out with Abbie over the weekend and meeting her awesome family! They are all great people.

Sadly, when we got back to the SLC airport we were faced with the terrible news that EVERY SINGLE flight home on Sunday was over-sold, leaving no room for the free loaders...

Luckily we had awesome Donald there to save the day! He let us drive one of his other cars, the FIREHAWK, home from SLC. Turns out, he'd been wanting to sell the car but hadn't had time to get it done... James offered to try selling it in good ole' CO and Donald thought that sounded like a pretty good idea. So, we were off.

Now that we get to fly everywhere, I had forgotten how fun a road trip can be. I love the drive from SLC to Denver when you go through the mountains. It is soooo pretty! Unfortunately we didn't make it to Glenwood Canyon before it got dark. That is the BEST! I definitely would recommend that drive to anyone.
