Quarter of a Century

I turned 25 earlier this week.  It's weird.  Depending where I am, sometimes I feel young and sometimes I feel old...  Like at work I think there might only be one or two people there who are younger than me so I feel pretty young and then I go to church and hang out with the Young Women (12-18) and feel ancient!  Sometimes I feel like I am ahead of the curve for my age and sometimes I feel like I am waaaay behind the curve but I guess that means I am probably somewhere in the middle so that's alright. I am mostly excited about getting older, we really have so much to look forward to in life.

I got to celebrate my birthday this year with my mom.  It was a big one for both of us.  This February I turned half my mom's age. :)  I won't say it so she can't get mad, but you can do the math.  It's pretty simple.

We spent this past weekend in Scottsdale, AZ with Chelsey and some of my mom's friends having a girls weekend.  It was really for my mom's birthday but I pretended that it was for mine too.  We did two of my absolute favorite things.  Shopped and laid out at the pool.  What else could a girl ask for on her 25th birthday?  Not much.  Speaking of not asking for things for your birthday I have to give a shout out to the best husband ever: GO JAMES!  He got me an AMAZING present this year without even asking me what I wanted.  I was shocked when I opened up the gift and it was a pair of sick Ray-Ban Wayfarers.  Seriously, I could not have picked them out better myself.  He did a GREAT job and I loooooove them.  Now lets see if I can not break or lose my first pair of expensive sunglasses.

Anyway, here are some photos from our trip...
Ever see a sign like this before..... I haven't!
Don't know why my creme brulee is side ways....
