Skyler Six (and a half) Months

I can't believe how much time has passed. Skyler is so fun right now. I thought I write down a few things she's doing before she changes too much!

Look at those rolls! So kissable!

She LOVES looking at her self in the mirror. Even if you walk past the mirror while you're holding her, she will let out a little squeal. It's the cutest. Then if you stand there for a little while she will talk and talk to her self and then lean in and kiss herself. I love it.
She has been sitting up for a while now, and she tips over less and less.
She has two teeth on the bottom and has had them since about 41/2 months.
She's been rolling over like a champ for at least a month now.
She has the best baby chub EVER! Her cheeks, her thighs, her wrists, her arms, her belly! I just want to eat her up constantly!
She talks all the time. And she's starting to say all kinds of new sounds. Sometimes she's pretty loud but I still like it....
She got her first cold right before Halloween. It was terribly sad. And then even more sad when it disrupted her amazing sleep habits, and then even worse when she passed it to me and then I ultimately passed it to James. I'm still trying to get her to sleep normally again. :(
She was a penguin for Halloween. I made her costume.
She eats baby food now. Loves almost everything except peaches, which seems weird to me.
Just learned she'll only take a bottle from me, James and my mom. I first tried having Nic feed her the other day while I was doing something and she would not have it.... I understood that a little because he might seem a little scary to her. :) But then my sister watched her the other day and she wouldn't take a bottle from her either! Such a diva.
She loves her dad, who watches her the 4 days a week that I work.
She still smiles alllll the time. She is such a happy baby and only really fusses if she isn't getting enough attention or if she's tired.
She loves going out and about, like to the store.
She sat in the front of the grocery cart for the first time just yesterday!
She still never wears shoes because they always fall off. I don't understand the point of baby shoes. If someone can tell me how to keep them on, or recommend some I will be pleased.
She's started standing up to things (not by herself, but when you put her there) and she gets really proud.
She's started being so sweet. Especially when she's tired. It's almost like she's giving kisses. She'll just push her face right in to mine and close her eyes. It's the best.
She puts everything in her mouth. I'm sure this is not surprising.
She took her 3rd plane ride just before Halloween when we went to visit Joslin (who had her 3rd baby a week after we left!) It's getting increasingly difficult flying with her, but still not terrible. Much better if the flight is not totally full and we can have our own row.
And now she's awake. :)
